ZTE Mighty 3C Specs, Features, Price And Release Date
ZTE has had a prolific year, launching a slew of high-end devices, including the Nubia Z9 line, along with the Axon lineup of devices, and even a smartwatch. The company has been doing well in the sales arena, and it was always going to be interesting to see what they came up with next. Well, it looks like ZTE is diversifying its portfolio as much as possible. The company has a just announced an extremely affordable, entry-level smartphone.
The ZTE Mighty 3C is now official, and costs only 499 Yuan, or around Rs.5000! The device features a 5-inch display, albeit one that is only 854×480, and comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. In a departure from trends in this market range, the device sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC, which while not the fastest processor out there, is a quad core, 64-bit chip. It also features a 5MP camera in the rear, and a 2MP front camera.
A considerable 2500mAh battery is provided, which doesn’t seem much these days, but the low screen resolution and low powered processor of the phone should see the battery last for quire long. The phone boasts of ‘Neovision 5.0’ camera software, which should somewhat help improve the performance of the sensors available in the device, which won’t be the best. In another surprising move, the phone comes pre-installed with Android 5.1 Lollipop!
The days of phones in the 5000 range having Android versions two or three years old are now history, it seems. 4G LTE connectivity is also provided, another remarkable feature in the price range. Also Read – LG G5
The phone is made out of plastic, with three capacitive touch buttons below the display. It won’t be beating the iPhone 6S in the looks department anytime soon, but it doesn’t look ugly at all. The design is quite industrial. The power and volume buttons are placed on the right side of the screen, and a loudspeaker can be found on the bottom of the back of this phone.
The most remarkable thing is still how ZTE managed to pack in quite a complete feature set, with no compromises, in Rs.5000. The device is as of yet only announced for China, but as soon as we have word on an indian release, we’ll let you know.
