Barcelona won the UEFA Super Cup by beating Sevilla by 5-4 in a game having lots of ups and downs. It was raining goals and Barcelona became the champions in this dramatic game in Tbilisi, Georgia on Tuesday.

The first goal of the match was hit by Ever Banega in the third minute of the game and surprised Barcelona with this early goal and gave Sevilla a lead of 1-0. But know one knew what this had to follow.

It was Lionel Messi, who bought Barcelona back into the game by scoring two goals through free kicks and put Barca 2-1 ahead in the 17th and 15th minute of the game.

Then these two goals of Messi, was followed by the goals of Rafinha and Luis Suarez in the 44th and 52nd minute, that brought the team into a very strong position and put Barca 3 goals ahead of Sevilla.

No one had ever thought that after getting into a such a strong position Barca would let the game go until the end but it did. It was in the 57th minute when Jose Antonio Reyes of Sevilla scored the second goal for his team and rose some hope of winning the game.

After the penalty goal scored by Kevin Gameiro through penalty further raised their hopes  and bought Sevilla back into the game. The scores were leveled by the goal scored by Yevhen Konoplyanka in the 81st minute of the game and the game moved to the extra time. Pedro Rodriguez was the one who helped Barcelona to clinch the Super Cup by scoring a goal in the extra time at the 115th minute of the game.

The game was filled with twists and turns and it proved to be a great match for the fans of football. It was Pedro only who decided the outcome of this dramatic match when he slotted home from close range following a Messi free-kick. But this could be his last appearance for the club as he is expected to join Manchester United in the coming days. On Tuesday when Pedro was asked that whether he will leave Barcelona or not, to this question his answer was ‘no’ but he also said that it was a difficult and complicated situation for him. He also added that it was not the problem of money, but it was about the time he spends on the field.

Lionel Messi again proved that why he is regarded as the best player by his amazing free kicks. Also, Rafinha and Suarez showed their amazing skills and Pedro, who scored the last goal of the match was also amazing with his skills. Also, the opposition gave a tough competition to the champions Barcelona, but unfortunately ended up on the loosing side.
