SRK Can Never Go Unnoticed – Check Out Raees Movie Trailer

by Mrinal VermaJuly 18, 2015

You can run; you can hide, but you just cannot ignore Shah Rukh Khan, no matter how much you try. He has a way about him that cannot go unnoticed. His presence is different-howsoever one might interpret it. So, it was obvious that when a new movie trailer with our King Khan was released on YouTube, it was bound to have every eye on it sooner or later. His look in the movie is rough, rugged, and might we add in a totally sophisticated way, hot.

He is wearing mascara in his eyes, a locket around his neck and within a second, it gives a promise that the movie is not some normal romantic comedy. His stubble and his brashness only promises an action-packed film. Even though we have gotten used to seen SRK in normal-romantic-hero roles in the recent past, this movie is surely breaking the cycle (and we are thankful!) and presenting him in a completely different way. Though it is unfamiliar, we are still loving it.His dialogue, “Dhandhe se bada koi dharam nahi hota” send chills down our spine and we really cannot wait for the film to release.

The movie also stars Farhan Akhtar and Nawazuddin Siddiqui so we can definitely count on it to be really entertaining as well as worth of our time. The female protagonist of the movie is Mahikra Khan who is a Pakistani actress and is making her Bollywood debut with the movie.

The film, which is all set to release on Eid 2016, is directed by Rahul Dholakia. It is set in Gujarat in 1980s and tells the story of Raees as a bootlegger and how his business has come under the notice of a strict, law-abiding policeman. The movie subtly criticizes the alcohol ban in the state, along with prostitution and illegal drugs. Even though the movie is based in Gujarat, it was still shot mainly in Mumbai because of the tension that surfaced when Dholakia’s Parzania was criticized in the state.

And just like everybody else, I enjoy a good cup of coffee and the pleasure of listening to good music.
