Samsung Galaxy S8 | Everything You Need To Know
The race to be the best Smartphone continues as people now look forward towards Samsung Galaxy S8 after the launch of Samsung Galaxy S7 earlier this year on 21st February 2016.
Every Smartphone has its pros and cons but after the launch of Galaxy Note 7 people have been more sceptical about continuing their journey with the most talked about tech giant. But fortunately the Galaxy series follows the separate path from Note series and has been a success over a period of time. So today we will sneak into the future and see what next Galaxy series handset has in store for us.
Wait! Let us see what was good and what was bad in Samsung Galaxy S7 and what awaits us. Samsung Galaxy S7 entered the arena with a monkey on its back, a bagful of expectations and an anxious fan following. Glorious display, stunning looks, IP68 water resistance and a great camera resistance were part of key highlights that helped S7 bring back the fans but some have even reported of poor speakers and quirks in TouchWiz.
Although it is not always true that successors bring in advanced features and are sure to bring success as was proved by Note 7, but a lot will be expected of Galaxy S8 come 2017 and below is what could be in store for us.
CES 2017 event in February is likely to bring Galaxy S8 into picture with 5.2 inch screen shielded with Corning Gorilla glass 5. The Korean giant is expected to stick with same Super AMOLED display and resolution of 1440 X 2560 px. Rear camera might take a leap from 12MP to somewhere between 16 to 18 MP, while the front camera too can rise up to 7 or 8MP. A 2.5 Ghz octa core processor of 64 bit is very much likely to be the case with Exynos 8 Octa 8895 or Snapdragon 821 chip system.
Galaxy S8 will also be boosted with 4-6 GB of RAM and will come to life with new Android version (Android 7.0 Nougat). Not to forget a powerful 3000 -3200 mAh Li ion battery providing extra talk time, gaming and applications hours. Talking of games, movies and several applications, storage also becomes a huge factor if you are a Smartphone addict. Samsung is likely to add 64 GB internal storage option in addition to existing 32GB version with extension capacity up till 256GB.
The above specifications are mouth watering but the price is what makes you hold the pockets in tight. The 32GB version might cost somewhere around 725 USD whereas the 64GB might hurt a bit more with 825 USD. Apple iphone 8 will give stiff competition to Galaxy S8.
The Korean has had a mixed bag this year, with its Smart phones experiencing both the crest and trough sides, so it will be interesting to see how successful Galaxy S8 will be in future or will the hiccups come back again to haunt.
