OPPO R7s Price, Specs, Features And Release Date

OPPO has been working hard recently to rise up in the smartphone brand wars, and get equal footing in namespace with leaders in the budget premium segment like Xiaomi and OnePlus. The OPPO R7, R7 Plus, R7 Lite and Mirror 5 are all great phones, and OPPO looks set to announce another great new phone come 18th October.

OPPO has announced that they will be announcing a new phone, the OPPO R7s, at Dubai’s GITEX (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition) come next Sunday. The device will improve upon the current OPPO R7 by featuring “a bigger display, a larger screen and double the storage space of the R7”, OPPO claims. Also Read – iphone 7

Not many other details about the devices have been revealed, given that its announcement is still pending, but thankfully we have the rumour mills to fill in the other details, and here’s what they’ve churned out.

The OPPO R7s is expected to come with a 5.5-inch 1920×1080 Full HD display, Qualcomm’s mid-range gladiator the Snapdragon 615, a sizeable 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal NAND storage, a 13MP rear shooter, an 8MP front shooter, and a huge 4100mAh battery. That phone sounds amazing on paper, but it remains to be seen what the device actually includes when it is announced.

OPPO seem to be going all out with this device, with specs equal to the Moto X Play and other devices in this range. They’ll be going full force ahead in the marketing, with their partnership with FC Barcelona, one of the most popular football clubs in the world.

Indian pricing and availability details for the OPPO R7s are, of course, not available yet. But watch this space for more on the phone as soon as it is announced, or, indeed, we get new leaks.
