OnePlus 2 Price Revealed By CEO Pete Lau
OnePlus 2 Price has been confirmed by the company in latest poster on its social networking sites. The price of the upcoming OnePlus 2 smart phone will be under USD$450 (around INR 28,500). OnePlus said in its twitter account :
We’ve seen price estimates for the #OnePlus2 upwards of $500. CEO Pete Lau quoted saying : I can promise that the OnePlus 2 will be priced under $450.
Earlier also, the Chinese company has given hint about the price of OnePlus 2 on two instances, one when it revealed that the cost of OnePlus 2 flagship would be higher than USD$322 (approx INR 20,500) or around CNY 1,999. The other instance was when the OnePlus CEO Pete Lau (aka Liu Zuohu ) had hinted the cost of the OnePlus 2 smartphone as CNY 2,499 (around INR 25,000 or USD$400).
OnePlus also wrote on its Google Plus page : We’ve seen price estimates for the #OnePlus2 upwards of $500. But, we made a promise to our users. “Honestly, it’s never been about the price. We simply make the best smartphones we can, and we go from there.”
OnePlus few days back also revealed that OP2 will have USB Type C, a 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 810 processor, metallic body along with latest & most advanced finger print sensors out there. Rather than Cyanogen OS the OnePlus 2 will run the company’s own Oxygen OS along with latest Android 5.1 Lollipop Operating System. It will be open, customizable and free of bloat, according to OnePlus. The phone is expected to come up with two variants possibly a 64 GB version and other the 128 GB version. Notably, OnePlus One came in 16 GB and 64 GB variants with killer specs in 2014.
OP2 Invite System Details
OnePlus has already announced that the OnePlus 2 will be unveiled on 27th July 2015, and that it will be the world’s first product to launch in VR (virtual reality). One Plus is again expected to sell OP2 online via invite system (may be through Amazon again in India) , same as it did for OnePlus One.
