HTC One M10 Snapdragon 820 and 652 versions leaked with price tags and release dates
Amidst all other flagship news adding to the excitement is the launch of HTC One M10. Let’s be honest, the One M8 and One M9 brought some good stuff to the games but never made it to spotlight like other flagships. Samsung and Apple managed to nail it spot on with their Galaxy S7 and iPhone 6S, the S7 taking the headlines.
The new leaks point to two different version of the HTC One M10. The M10 will be constructed in all aluminium body taking a hint of design aesthetics from the One A9 with some antenna inlays at the top and bottom. The leaks point to one version of the M10 with a Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The M10 will also have 200GB of expandable storage which seems the norm nowadays. There is good news on the camera front, it seems that this year mainstream manufacturers are dropping pixels and HTC is not making any certain changes to that. The 12 Megapixel shooter on the HTC M10 will be coupled with some goodies like OIS and laser autofocus with a faster f/1.9 lens. Laser autofocus or not, it highly unlikely that the camera be on par with the Galaxy S7. There will be a 5 Megapixel front facing camera for selfies as well.
HTC One M10 will come with the same 5.1 QHD, 2560x1440p AMOLED panel for that richness in saturation. One M10 will also have a sibling, a Snapdragon 652 version for the budget oriented. It will be the same device with 16GB of memory coupled with 3GB of RAM. One M10 will launch on 12th April along with the Snapdragon 652 variant. The HTC One M10 with the Snapdragon 820 will cost you $800 and 652 powered variant will come for $500. With the profit reports of HTC dipping down into deep sea, will the One series make a comeback with the One M10?
Update 12 April
