This incident has put a question on the strength of construction of bridges and other projects as they are not maintained and constructed properly. They are not able to withstand the situation of floods.

It was a difficult task to rescue people from the place of accident as the visibility was very low and also the roads in the areas were very low as it was raining heavily but the team of NDRF did an excellent work to complete the rescue operations. After the incident several trains were also cancelled of that route.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee said the accident was distressing and offered condolences to the victims of the accident and relatives of those who lost their lives in the mishap.

Every year large amount of money is spent in order to improve the condition of railways. But accidents like this shatters all our hopes of enhancing and improving its condition. On one hand, we see the dream of bringing bullet trains in our country, but on another we are not able to maintain the present railway network.

So, it is very important that all the construction activities should be carried out with full honesty without any corruption as some people use low quality materials to earn more profits, overlooking the lives of many people. Being a responsible citizen, they should do their work properly and with full honesty.

We should hope that such type of accidents should not take place in the future and we don’t have to regret at losing many innocent lives.
