Elephone P9000 Specs, Price And Launch Date
Elephone P9000 may be the first smartphone to have ten core processor. The P9000 model is expected to feature MediaTek’s Helio X20 SoC CPU with other high end features and is expected to arrive at the start of fourth quarter (likely in October 2015).
Elephone P9000 handset likely specs includes 5.5 inch 1080p screen display, 4 GB RAM, a 20.7 Mega Pixel front facing camera & 8 MP back camera. The device is also rumored to feature a power packed 3,100mAh battery, along with 32 GB of inbuilt memory with micro SD card slot. The phone is likely to have Android 5.1 Lollipop Operating system.
The Helio X20 CPU has the industry’s first tri-cluster architecture which packs 2 Cortex-A72 CPU cores clocked @ 2.5 GHz for optimal-performance, 4 Cortex-A53 cores clocked @ 2 GHz for striking a balance between performance & power-consumption, and another 4 Cortex-A53 cores clocked @ 1.4 GHz for power efficiency. The GPU will be Mali-T800.
The phone is expected to come up with a dual-SIM compatibility with 4G network, making it a competitive high end smartphone in terms of both specs and design. The Elephone P9000 could cost around US$500 upon its release & is expected to launch in various countries on October 20th 2015.
