APJ Abdul Kalam Dies At 83 | The People’s President

Former president and the ‘Missile Man’ & ‘Bharat Ratna’ – APJ Abdul Kalam dies on Monday while addressing a lecture in Shillong. Kalam, 83, was giving the lecture at the IIM Shillong and was raced to the adjacent Bethany Hospital where specialists put him on oxygen & attempted to save him.

“He was brought into hospital without a heartbeat or BP. There was no indication of life as said by John Sailo Ryntathiang, executive of Bethany Hospital. Kalam served as president of India for a long time from 2002 – 2007, getting a charge out of the backing of both the decision of BJP & the opposition party Congress.
