BRUCE JENNER’s PUBLIC DEBUT AS CAITLYN JENNER
He first stood out as truly newsworthy when he won a gold award at the 1976 Olympic Games, now Bruce Jenner is making headlines for his dramatic transformation into Caitlyn Jenner.
The Keeping up with Kardashians star, who initially affirmed simply a month ago that she is transitioning into a lady, opened up to the world as her new self in a cover shoot for The Vanity Fair,done by Annie Leibovitz.
Bruce Jenner was the Olympic hero of his times. It’s difficult to imagine how he lived for 65 long years hiding the biggest secret of his life, the secret which caused him turmoil for decades. Even amidst numerous camera’s catching his every move, Jenner kept his own self concealed , living a life of a macho athlete.
Only recently did he conformed to his long fought struggle and came out as a woman during a very emotionally exclusive interview with Diane Sawyer.
“If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life,’ said Jenner.
After a whole lot of controversies, rumors and drama surrounding the story, Jenner finally came out as her true self – Caitlyn – in the cover of The Vanity.
Caitlyn Jenner additionally appeared another Twitter account with: “I’m so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can’t wait for you to get to know her/me.
There are an estimate of 700,000 transgender people in the U.S struggling to survive in a society which offers them nothing but discrimination, misunderstanding , mental and physical torture.
Jenner said she is mindful of the horrifying conditions in which huge numbers of the 700,000 transgender men and ladies live in the US and arrangements to reveal insight in the E! show on such issues as suicide and endeavored suicide within the community .
“I’m not doing it for money. I’m doing it to help my soul and help other people.”, her big focus is to create a path for transgender’s to be able to live their true self out in the open. Also she hopes to raise the required awareness regarding the subject.
