Bon Jovi Dedicates an Album to Fans
The last Bon Jovi album was released in 2013 and since then fans have been waiting for at least something new from the band. Well, we cannot think of any-other, more-special dedication they could have used. The rock band recently announced that they will be releasing a new album. Not only is it going to be released next month, yes, you read it right, it is also especially dedicated to the amazing fans the band has. They are scheduled to go on tour in September and what better songs to sing than the ones written for the people in the crowd. The new album is titled Burning Bridges and will be released on 21st August.
Billboard also reported that the band is going to release two songs as singles before the special album comes out. These two songs are We Don’t Run and Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning. The former is co-written by the lead singer Jon Bon Jovi with John Shanks, who has many awards in his credit including a Grammy, and is said to be similar to the rest of the songs by the band. The band also gave an idea about the second song, suggesting that it will be a preppy, happy and romantic pop genre song with a catchy tune and funky lyrics.
The band, which was formed in 1983, has three members: Jon Bon Jovi, who is the lead singer, David Bryan, keyboard player and pianist, and Tico Torres who is the drummer. One of the factors that brings the album to limelight is the rumour that the album will be featuring a song that was written by the band before Richie Sambora decided to depart in 2013. His resignation was very short notice which created a lot of tension amongst the band and the fans, but Bon Jovi later confessed in an interview that there were no hard feelings between them as being in a band is not a life sentence.
